HPLC purity
How much of the sample is the peptide on the label, by RP-HPLC. We report the measured number the instrument returns, not a pass/fail badge.
Identity by mass spectrometry
LC-MS weighs the molecule and compares it to the expected mass - the strongest evidence the sample is the peptide it claims to be, not a different compound that happens to be pure.
Endotoxin (LAL)
Bacterial endotoxin in EU/mg. Sterilisation does not remove it, so it is measured on its own rather than assumed from a sterility result.
Sterility
Whether anything grows when a sample is cultured. A separate question from endotoxin - material can be sterile and still carry endotoxin.
Method, named
We state the instruments and conditions used. Naming the method is what lets another lab repeat the test and get the same answer.
Certificate of analysis
Every sample comes back with a COA showing the raw results and the method - a document you can hand to a buyer or a regulator, not a marketing PDF.

Can I send my own peptides to pepuro for testing?
Yes. We test samples sent in by other brands, suppliers, clinics and researchers - not just our own catalog. Tell us what you have and what you need measured.
What tests do you run?
HPLC purity, identity by mass spectrometry, bacterial endotoxin (LAL) and sterility. For reference, our own release floor is 99% purity by HPLC and 0.5 EU/mg endotoxin, but on your sample we report the numbers the instruments return.
Do you provide a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every sample is returned with a certificate of analysis showing the measured results and the method used, so the report can be handed to a buyer or checked by another lab.
How long does testing take?
Turnaround depends on which tests you order and the current queue. We confirm a timeline with you before you ship your sample, rather than quoting a number we cannot always hit.
How do I send a sample in?

Do you test peptides you did not sell?
Yes - that is the point. Independent testing is only meaningful when the lab has no stake in the result. We test outside material the same way we would our own.
Is my sample and my data kept confidential?
Yes. Your results are yours. We do not publish or share the reports we run for you, and we do not add you to any marketing list from the enquiry form.
