Peptide handling guides
The handling rules are the same for every peptide. The numbers are not. Each guide here takes one peptide and puts its molecular weight, vial sizes and concentration table on a single page, with what to look for on that molecule's report.
Why the numbers differ
A 5 mg vial of a 1,419 Da peptide holds about 3.5 micromoles. A 5 mg vial of a 4,800 Da peptide holds about 1. Same label, three times fewer molecules. If you work in molar units the molecular weight decides everything, and it is different for every product.
The identity check you can do yourself
The expected mass on a mass-spec result is the molecular weight. Each guide prints it, so you can compare the observed mass on your vial's report to the expected one. A close match is the identity check passing.
Common questions
Where do the molecular weights come from?+
Published reference values for each compound, listed on the product's Specifications tab. The observed mass for the material you actually receive is on that vial's report.
Is there a guide for every product?+
Not yet. They are written for the peptides people ask about most and added over time. Every product page carries the identifiers and a calculator link in the meantime.
Do the guides cover dosing?+
No. Everything on this site is for in-vitro research. The guides cover identity, concentration and storage.
