The histidine in the middle is the copper-binding residue. Take the copper away and you have GHK basic at 340.38 g/mol, which we also sell. GHK-Cu vs GHK basic covers the pair.
The colour check
This is the only product in the catalog where you can check something about identity without a lab. Reconstituted GHK-Cu is blue, because copper(II) absorbs in the red part of the spectrum. The copper-free peptide dissolves colourless.
That is not a purity test and it does not replace the report. But if a vial labelled GHK-Cu goes into solution clear and colourless, read its report before doing anything else.

A 50 mg vial is about 124 micromoles, which is roughly a hundred times the molar content of a 5 mg vial of a large peptide. Small molecule, big number. The GHK-Cu calculator has the weight preset.
Handling
Water down the inside wall, swirl, never shake. Fifty milligrams is a lot of powder for a small vial, so give it a minute longer to dissolve than a 5 mg vial. Freezer for the dry powder; reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and out of light, because copper complexes are light-sensitive. Storage guide.

Observed mass near 403.91, HPLC purity at 99% or higher, matching batch number, named lab. Look up any batch.
In the blends
