Tirzepatide vial sizes, concentration and storage
Tirzepatide's numbers in one place: mass, receptors, the six vial sizes we sell, concentration at common volumes and what its report should show.
Published September 4, 2026
Tirzepatide is a synthetic 39-residue peptide that acts at two receptors. It comes in more vial sizes than anything else we sell, so the concentration table is worth having.
| Peptide | Vial sizes | From |
|---|---|---|
| Tirzepatide | 5mg, 10mg, 15mg, 30mg, 40mg, 60mg | $42.99 CAD |
| Semaglutide | 5mg, 10mg, 20mg, 30mg | $42.99 CAD |

At 4,813 g/mol it is a large peptide, and that shows up everywhere in the molar arithmetic below. A 10 mg vial is only about 2.08 micromoles.

Tirzepatide vial sizes we sell, at four diluent volumes. Molarity uses 4813.45 g/mol. Other volumes
Six vial sizes across four volumes is a lot of combinations, and the table above covers the common ones. For anything else, the tirzepatide calculator has every size as a preset with the molecular weight filled in.
One thing worth noticing: 5 mg in 1 mL and 10 mg in 2 mL are the same concentration. If you are scaling up a vial size and keeping the concentration fixed, scale the water with it.
Handling
Same technique as any lyophilized peptide: bacteriostatic water down the glass wall, swirl, never shake. The 40 and 60 mg vials hold more powder and take a minute longer to clear, so give them that minute before deciding something is wrong. Freezer for the dry vial, fridge once it is in solution, no repeated freeze-thaw. Detail in the reconstitution and storage guides.
On the report
An observed mass near 4813.45 g/mol, HPLC purity at 99% or higher, the batch number matching your vial, and a named lab. Tirzepatide and retatrutide are 82 g/mol apart, which is easily resolved at this mass, so a report should never be ambiguous about which one it tested.

Where it sits among the three
Semaglutide vs tirzepatide vs retatrutide sets the three side by side by receptor count and mass. The short version: one receptor, two, three, and tirzepatide is the two.
Every tirzepatide vial from pepuro ships free, from Calgary, the same business day your e-Transfer clears, with a QR code on the vial that opens its Janoshik Analytical report.

Frequently asked questions
What is the molecular weight of tirzepatide?+
4813.45 g/mol, formula C225H348N48O68. It is the heaviest of the three incretin peptides we carry.
How much water do I add to a 10 mg tirzepatide vial?+
1 mL gives 10 mg/mL, 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, 5 mL gives 2 mg/mL. Pick the volume that lands on a concentration you can measure accurately.
Which tirzepatide vial sizes are available?+
5, 10, 15, 30, 40 and 60 mg. The 60 mg vial is the largest in our GLP-1 range.
How is tirzepatide different from semaglutide?+
Tirzepatide binds two receptors, GIP and GLP-1. Semaglutide binds one, GLP-1. They are different sequences with different masses, 4,813 against 4,114 g/mol.
