CJC-1295 and ipamorelin: why they are paired
A GHRH analog and a ghrelin agonist in one vial. Why the two are studied together, what each half does, and the molar concentrations once reconstituted.
Published September 23, 2026
CJC-1295 and ipamorelin are two different peptides that act on two different receptors, and they are sold together because research protocols study them together. This guide covers what each one is, why the pairing uses the no-DAC form of CJC-1295, and what the 1:1 ratio in the vial means once you add water.
| Peptide | Vial sizes | From |
|---|---|---|
| CJC-1295 (NO-DAC) + Ipamorelin Blend | 10mg, 20mg | $72.99 CAD |
| CJC-1295 (NO-DAC) | 5mg, 10mg | $34.99 CAD |

Two peptides, two receptors
Growth-hormone release is driven by more than one signal. One is growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), which acts on the GHRH receptor. Another is ghrelin, which acts on a separate receptor, GHS-R1a. CJC-1295 is a GHRH analog. Ipamorelin is a ghrelin receptor agonist. Each one reaches the same outcome through a different door, and that is the reason the pair shows up together in growth-hormone research: a protocol can study both signals at the same time instead of one.
What each half is
| CJC-1295 (no-DAC) | Ipamorelin | |
|---|---|---|
| Class | GHRH analog | Ghrelin receptor agonist |
| Receptor | GHRH receptor | GHS-R1a |
| Length | 29 residues | 5 residues |
| Molecular weight | 3367.90 g/mol | 711.85 g/mol |
| Also called | Modified GRF (1-29) |
CJC-1295 no-DAC is the first 29 residues of GHRH, the part that carries its full activity, with four amino acids swapped so enzymes break it down more slowly. Ipamorelin is a short pentapeptide known for selectivity: in the study that first characterised it, it did not raise ACTH or cortisol the way GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 did. GHRP-2 vs GHRP-6 vs ipamorelin covers that comparison in detail.
Why the no-DAC form
CJC-1295 also comes with a drug affinity complex (DAC), a group that binds albumin and stretches the half-life from minutes to about a week in research models. The pairing uses the form without it. A no-DAC signal rises and clears within the hour, which matches the short pulse of a ghrelin agonist. CJC-1295 DAC vs no-DAC explains the difference and how to tell the two apart on a lab report.
Same milligrams, different molecule counts
Our blend is 1:1 by mass. The 10mg vial holds 5mg of each peptide and the 20mg vial holds 10mg of each. Mass is not the same as molecule count, though. Ipamorelin is 4.73 times lighter than CJC-1295, so at equal milligrams the vial holds about 4.7 ipamorelin molecules for every CJC-1295 molecule.
That gap shows up in molar concentration after reconstitution:
| Vial | Water | Each peptide | CJC-1295 | Ipamorelin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10mg (5 + 5) | 1 mL | 5.00 mg/mL | 1.48 mM | 7.02 mM |
| 10mg (5 + 5) | 2 mL | 2.50 mg/mL | 0.74 mM | 3.51 mM |
| 10mg (5 + 5) | 3 mL | 1.67 mg/mL | 0.49 mM | 2.34 mM |
| 20mg (10 + 10) | 1 mL | 10.00 mg/mL | 2.97 mM | 14.05 mM |
| 20mg (10 + 10) | 2 mL | 5.00 mg/mL | 1.48 mM | 7.02 mM |
| 20mg (10 + 10) | 3 mL | 3.33 mg/mL | 0.99 mM | 4.68 mM |
The reconstitution calculator for the blend works on the vial's total milligrams. For each peptide, halve its mg/mL figure, and use the molecular weights above for molar values.
One vial or two
The blend saves a step: one vial, one reconstitution, one lab report. The trade-off is a fixed 1:1 ratio. A protocol that needs a different ratio is better served by the single vials, CJC-1295 (no-DAC) and ipamorelin, reconstituted separately. Peptide blends explained goes through what a blend vial does and does not tell you.
Checking the vial
A blend has two identities to confirm, so its lab report should show both peptides, each with its own purity and mass result. The QR code on every pepuro vial opens the report for the batch that vial came from, and that report states the ratio measured for the batch. How to read a peptide lab report shows what to look for.

Frequently asked questions
Why are CJC-1295 and ipamorelin paired?
+
They act on two different receptors that both feed into growth-hormone release. CJC-1295 acts on the GHRH receptor and ipamorelin on the ghrelin receptor. Research protocols pair them to study both signals at once.
Is the CJC-1295 in the blend the DAC or no-DAC form?
+
No-DAC, also sold as Modified GRF (1-29). Its half-life in research models is around 30 minutes, which gives a short pulse. The DAC form binds albumin and lasts days, which is not what these protocols pair with a ghrelin agonist.
What is the ratio in pepuro's blend?
+
One to one by mass. The 10mg vial holds 5mg of each peptide and the 20mg vial holds 10mg of each. Because ipamorelin is about 4.7 times lighter, the vial holds about 4.7 ipamorelin molecules for every CJC-1295 molecule.
Can I buy CJC-1295 and ipamorelin as separate vials?
+
Yes. pepuro sells CJC-1295 (no-DAC) and ipamorelin as single vials as well as the blend. Separate vials let a protocol set its own ratio; the blend saves a reconstitution.
