Why the tolerance is high
Peptides ship lyophilized because the reactions that dominate in solution need water to run. Remove the water and the material becomes far more temperature-tolerant than the same peptide in liquid. A warm delivery is not the emergency people expect. What lyophilized means covers it.
The tolerance is not unlimited. Sustained heat over long periods is a stress, and heat plus residual moisture is worse than either alone, which is why sealed storage matters as much as cool storage.

Storage through summer
- Unreconstituted: refrigerated, sealed, out of direct light. The default in any season.
- On delivery: indoors the same day rather than a hot entryway.
- Before opening: let a refrigerated vial reach room temperature sealed. Prevents condensation.
- After reconstitution: refrigerate, and do not transport warm.

Check the vial before you use it
Every vial we ship carries its own QR code. Scanning it opens the third-party lab report for the exact batch that vial was filled from: HPLC purity, mass-spec identity, appearance, the testing lab and the date. Scan a sample at /track before you order anything.
Four things to confirm on arrival:
- The batch number on the label matches the report the code opens.
- The seal and stopper are intact.
- The lyophilized cake is dry and whole, not collapsed, shrunken or tacky.
- The colour matches what the report describes.
A vial that fails any of those is replaced. Contact support within 7 days of delivery.

A vehicle interior in direct sun runs well above outdoor air and is the worst realistic exposure. This is the scenario to avoid, especially for a reconstituted vial, which should never travel unrefrigerated.
