Four elements make a COA real

Miss any one and the document is marketing rather than analysis. This filter costs nothing and removes most suppliers.
Purity and identity are different questions
HPLC purity reports what fraction of the sample is a single species. A 98% result says the material is largely one compound. It does not say which compound.
Mass spectrometry compares the observed molecular mass against the expected value for the stated sequence. This is what confirms the vial contains the peptide named on the label.
A sample can be 99% pure and 99% something you did not order. Both numbers are needed, and the expected mass differs per peptide, so it is a per-product check.

Check the vial before you use it
Every vial we ship carries its own QR code. Scanning it opens the third-party lab report for the exact batch that vial was filled from: HPLC purity, mass-spec identity, appearance, the testing lab and the date.
Two vials of the same peptide from different production runs open different reports, because they are different material. Scan a sample code at /track to see one before you order anything.
Four things to confirm when a parcel arrives:
- The batch number on the label matches the report the code opens.
- The seal and stopper are intact.
- The lyophilized cake is dry and whole, not collapsed, shrunken or tacky.
- The colour matches what the report describes.
A vial that fails any of those is replaced. Contact support within 7 days of delivery.

What purity figure should I expect?+
Research peptides are commonly reported above 95% by HPLC. That number alone is incomplete. Purity says what fraction of the sample is one species; mass spectrometry says whether that species is the peptide on the label.
What is the difference between a COA and a batch report?+
The terms are used interchangeably. Scope is what matters. A report covering a named production run traceable to your vial tells you something. A generic product-line certificate describes material you may never receive.
