What the numbers mean for SS-31
SS-31 has a molecular weight of 639.79 g/mol (C32H49N9O5). So 10 mg is about 15.6 micromoles, whatever volume you dissolve it in. At 5 mg/mL that is 7.82 mM.

Common questions
How much water do I add to a 10 mg vial of SS-31?+
Any volume that gives a concentration you can measure easily. 1 mL gives 10 mg/mL, 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, 5 mL gives 2 mg/mL. The peptide amount stays 10 mg whatever you add.
What is the concentration of SS-31 10 mg in 2 mL?+
5 mg/mL, which is the same as 5 µg/µL. With a molecular weight of 639.79 g/mol that is 7.82 mM.
Where does the SS-31 molecular weight come from?+
